Soma Organic Mattresses offers several different mattresses, using premium quality organic materials. Each series offers different height and comfort levels. In our 8 Series, the Soma Organic 8 Firm Support Mattress is the firmest eight-inch model. It is very reminiscent of the original organic latex mattresses from decades ago, with a touch of contour. Made by the Obasan factory based in Ottawa, the Soma Organic 8 Firm has a 3 + 3 + 2 combination that is specifically tailored to those who prefer a firmer feel. The added 2-inch soft top layer provides a gradual pressure relief without taking away the firmer feel and supportive layers. Do you like this mattress, but want a little more softness? Soma 8 Plush Support does just that! Or how about a mattress that is completely customized for two sleepers? Our Soma Organic 8 Dual Customizable Mattress is designed for side-to-side customization.

The Soma Organic 8 Firm Support is typically paired with the Soma Organic Foundation with Legs. It may also be paired with the essential Soma Organic Slat Foundation. Both foundations are upholster finished in organic cotton and organic wool.
Both mattress bases correctly support the mattress. This mattress can be purchased with or without the matching foundation. It is very important to have adequate support and breath-ability for your mattress. Please ensure that you are using the correct type of support (“boxspring”) for your organic mattress.

The Soma Organic 8 Firm Support Mattress is typically made-to-order and requires between 2-3 weeks for production. While Ontario customers can expect shorter delivery times, all Canadian customers can expect delivery within 2-7 days from date of purchase (time is dependant on your location).
