About Soma Everest Canadian Down Duvet
The Soma Everest Canadian Down Duvet is part of an exclusive Hutterite down collection made by St. Geneve for Soma Organic Mattresses.
The Everest Duvet is filled with the very best white goose down collected from small farms located in northern Alberta, Canada. It boasts a luxurious 900 loft with a down that shares some of the clinging ability that makes the Eiderdown or James Bay extraordinary.
What inspired the Everest collection? The white goose down found in the Everest Pillows and Duvets has incredible loft, insulation and light-weight properties that it was enlisted in the making of the sleeping bags used by a Canadian expedition to Mount Everest in the Nepal region.
The premium qualities of Hutterite White Goose Down are enhanced by the unique, ultra-light Tencel and Cotton batiste encasement. The Tencel content of the ticking makes the duvet efficient at moisture transportation, which helps regulate your comfort while sleeping. Soma’s Everest Down Duvet is available in Dual Zone. Dual Zone is a unique feature offered by St. Geneve which allows two different weights (Summer, Classic or Winter) to be shared in the same duvet. Having a 50/50 custom duvet is ideal for couples with different warmth needs.

Duvet Fill Details
For the average person living in a temperature controlled home, we recommended Summer or Classic Weight duvet fill. Winter Weight duvets are often much too warm for modern living conditions. Winter Weight is ideal for those who are extremely cold at night or live in very cold climates, such as in Northern Canada, or in homes and cottages that are not temperature controlled.
