The Austin Air PERMAFILT Pre-Filter Standard Size is the first line of defense in all standard size Austin Air Air Purification systems. The Standard Size Replacement Filter is Austin Air’s unique pre-filter solution. PERMAFILT Pre-Filters are compatible with all standard HM400 series Austin Air Purifiers, which include: HM400 HealthMate, HM450 HealthMate Plus, HM405 Allergy Machine, HM410 Pet Machine, and the HM402 Bedroom Machine.
If you currently own an Austin Air machine and smell an unpleasant odour coming from the unit, or if you notice a significantly reduced airflow, it is likely time to replace your filter.
