The HealthMate Junior HM200 Air Purifier provides the same benefits as it’s sister system, the HM200 with increased filtration capability. The internal filter’s advantage is a result of the of it’s the impregnation of potassium iodide (along with the zeolite), which provides relief for people with severe chemical sensitivities. The HM250 HealthMate Junior cleans up to 700 square feet (assuming average residential ceiling heights of 8 feet high). It provides effective coverage for single rooms. It’s HEPA filter is designed to last up to five years (in a residential or single office setting). The HealthMate Plus Junior HM250 also comes in a full size version.

Filter Details

The HealthMate Plus Junior comes equipped with a 360-Degree Progressive Filtering System. It addresses the complete spectrum of air cleaning: removing sub-micron particles, noxious gases and chemicals. Therefore, the 360-degree intake system draws air into all sides of the purifier machine while passing it through a 4-stage internal filter. This results in more clean air being delivered at a faster, more efficient rate.

• STAGE 1 – large particle pre-filter removes particles easily seen (dust, hair, and pet dander)
• STAGE 2 – medium particle pre-filter removes small to medium size particles (molds, spores and pollen)
• STAGE 3 – 6.5 lbs. of Activated Carbon impregnated with Potassium Iodide and Zeolite (10:1 ratio) removes chemicals, gases and odours

Care Instructions

• Once a month vacuuming of the four sides of the outside screen using the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner
• Should you smell an unpleasant odour coming from the unit, or if you notice a significantly reduced airflow, it is likely time to replace your filter(s)
• Your external filter (pre-filter) should be replaced every 1-2 years of normal use
• Your internal filter should be replaced prior to the completion of the 5th year of use (for ideal performance)
