The St Geneve Premium Silk Duvet is your natural down duvet alternative made of 100% Tussah silk. For those who find down duvets too warm, silk is a great option as a healthy replacement.
Mother Nature has the silk worm produce silk for their cocoons. The silk fibre protects young moths from heat, cold, mildew, mould and mites. The silk is harvested from wild farms where the Antheraea moths (silk worms) are raised outdoors and feed off of Oak Trees. This aids in the production of a heavier, more resilient silk fibre. St Geneve has a speciality mill in China that weaves the fibres and carefully hand layers the duvet’s interior fill. China is the world leader in silk production, historically as well as present day. Silk is safe, organic and natural.
