About St Geneve Genuine Eiderdown Duvet (Cotton Cover)
The St Geneve Eiderdown Duvet is so rare that more Lamborghini automobiles are produced every year versus Eiderdown-filled Duvets.
Although the loft of the Eiderdown Duvet is recorded at 700, it’s density and cling factor behave beyond a 700 loft. In fact, the Eiderdown performs better than a 1,000 loft down. The nature of the Eiderdown allows this duvet to utilize much less down, yet it competes with high-quality, luxury down duvets that have a higher fill and loft.
Eiderdown is hand-collected from the bird’s nests which are found in Eider Duck Sanctuaries. For generations, local farmers have created a special bond with the birds. They are not disturbed nor harmed and allow the farmers to collect the excess down. Eiderdown’s insulating capacity is so advanced that it adjusts to the temperature of the person under the duvet. This means that it can keep you warm when the temperatures are cold, and keep you cooler when the temperatures are warmer. It is so lightweight that it feels as if an airy cloud is caressing your body as you sleep. The Canadian Eiderdown Duvet is the most sumptuous duvet in existence.

Duvet Fill Details
For the average person living in a temperature controlled home, we recommended Summer or Classic Weight duvet fill. Winter Weight duvets are often much too warm for modern living conditions. Winter Weight is ideal for those who are extremely cold at night or live in very cold climates, such as in Northern Canada, or in homes and cottages that are not temperature controlled.
