Eiderdown is hand-collected from the bird’s nests which are found in Eider Duck Sanctuaries. For generations, local farmers have created a special bond with the birds. They are not disturbed nor harmed and allow the farmers to collect the excess down. Eiderdown’s insulating capacity is so advanced that it adjusts to the temperature of the person sleep with the pillow. This means that it can keep you warm when the temperatures are cold, and keep you cooler when the temperatures are warmer. Care Instructions

• Protect your pillow with a St Geneve pillow protector
• Wash your down pillow as infrequently as possible
• Launder your down pillow without any other articles
• Use a pure, gentle soap
• Do not use any type of bleach or fabric softener
• Wash in medium temperature water at the maximum water level with an extra rinse cycle
• Machine dry your pillows individually at medium temperatures
• After the first drying cycle, pull apart any clumps that have formed
• Use a tumble dry setting for the following drying cycle
