About St Dormeir Natural Mattress Protector
The St Dormeir Natural Mattress Protector is your comfortable, luxury mattress protector. A good mattress will last 10 to 20 years, thus it is very important that you choose a quality mattress protector. We spend one third of our lives in bed and this is why selecting quality, natural materials in our mattress and bedding is important.
The St Dormeir is made of natural and breathable materials. They are made by quilting high quality virgin wool between two layers of special, chemical free cotton. This cotton is woven in a jersey knit and is used as the skirt that goes around the sides of the protector. It has an elastic band around the bottom edge for a secure fit, much like a fitted bed sheet. Wool absorbs perspiration much better than polyester, and will keep your mattress clean and fresh, while you remain cool and dry. Enjoy all of the benefits of natural materials while still being able to machine wash your protector with ease.
St Dormeir is committed to helping you to sleep better, while impacting the planet as little as possible. They produce durable products void of petrochemicals which means that there is no possibility of risk to your health. Their protectors are also biodegradable and will not harm the earth. Looking for matching pillow protectors? St Dormeir is also available as a Pillow Protector.
All St Dormeir Mattress Protectors are quilted in Spain and finished in Canada.

Care Instructions
St Dormeir products are easy to care for. A special finishing process used on the wool makes it completely machine washable and machine dry-able. Terry weave will “lint” more than other weaves. Please be aware that after every laundering, you may find some lint in your dryer’s lint trap, which is normal.
- Use a high quality detergent, such as: Tide Free, Linen Wash, etc.
- Do not use any form of bleach, caustic soap or fabric softener
- Machine wash in warm (never hot) water on a gentle cycle
- Use the maximum water level
- Do not launder with other items
- We recommend washing your mattress protector by itself
- Machine dry on delicate using low temperature (never high heat)
- Do not over dry as this may make the wool filling brittle
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean
- Your mattress protector can be air dried (hung dried)
