The HealthMate HM200 Junior Air Purifier is Austin Air’s compact take on their original HealthMate model. Austin Air cleaners have been consistently rated at the top of air cleaner categories via independent testing. The HM200 HealthMate Junior cleans up to 700 square feet and comes equipped with a Carbon-Zeolite mix and True Medical HEPA filter. media for adsorption of odours and gases. It’s filter is designed to last up to five years (in a residential setting). The HealthMate HM200 Junior also comes in a full size version.

Filter Details

The HealthMate Junior comes equipped with a 360-Degree Progressive Filtering System. It addresses the complete spectrum of air cleaning: removing sub-micron particles, noxious gases and chemicals. Therefore, the 360-degree intake system draws air into all sides of the purifier machine while passing it through a 4-stage internal filter. This results in more clean air being delivered at a faster, more efficient rate.

• STAGE 1 – large particle pre-filter removes particles easily seen (dust, hair, and pet dander)
• STAGE 2 – medium particle pre-filter removes small to medium size particles (molds, spores and pollen)
• STAGE 3 – 6.5 lbs. of Activated Carbon and Zeolite removes chemicals, gases and odours
• STAGE 4 – 30 square feet of Certified HEPA removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns

Care Instructions

• Once a month vacuuming of the four sides of the outside screen using the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner
• Should you smell an unpleasant odour coming from the unit, or if you notice a significantly reduced airflow, it is likely time to replace your filter(s)
• Your external filter (pre-filter) should be replaced every 1-2 years of normal use
• Your internal filter should be replaced prior to the completion of the 5th year of use (for ideal performance)
