The Green Sleep Ergo Hevea Vimala Mattress, simply known as the Original Vimala, is Green Sleep’s original design. The Vimala came from Green Sleep Europe’s original blueprint for a natural rubber mattress and has been duplicated by many companies that came thereafter. With years of scientific research behind the design, the Original Vimala is configured with a 2 + 4 + 2 natural rubber system that continues to be a successful favourite among sleepers. This mattress provides support while still allowing the natural rubber to mould to your body and can be paired with a solid, flexible-slat sleep system (such as the S-300 Foundation by Green Sleep).

Keep the same feel across the mattress or allow both partners the create their own, separate feel within the same mattress.

  • North Malaysia 600 is an exclusive process to Green Sleep. The rubber cores derive from their very own tree farm, which is reputed as one of the highest quality, purist and most elastic rubber available
• 100% certified organic cotton velour (top cover)
• 100% certified organic cotton canvas (bottom cover)
• 100% certified pure Texel virgin wool
  • Texel wool is also certified pH balanced (pH 7). This is the best type of wool fibre for those worried about skin sensitivity
• Each individual layer of rubber is wrapped in 100% organic cotton muslin for increased longevity
• Customization on both sides of the mattress
• Top-zip mattress envelope (cover) with latent metal zipper finish

  • 2″ firm natural rubber base layer
  • 4″ soft, medium or firm natural rubber core layer, with the option of split comfort

Mattress Support

The Ergo Hevea Vimala Mattress is typically paired with the S-100 Foundation, which is available in an Organic Cotton or an Organic Linen upholstered finish.

Both mattress bases correctly support the mattress and come with removable, standard 8-inch wood legs. This mattress can be purchased with or without the matching foundation. It is very important to have adequate support and breath-ability for your mattress. Please ensure that you are using the correct type of support (“boxspring”) for your organic mattress.

 
Availability, Shipping & Delivery

The Original Vimala Mattress is typically made-to-order and requires between 2-3 weeks for production. While Ontario customers can expect shorter delivery times, all Canadian customers can expect delivery within 2-7 days from date of purchase (time is dependant on your location). This product qualifies for FREE shipping and handling across most locations in Canada.
