Filtration Details

PHASE 1: Large Particle Prefilter. This initial phase captures visible pollutants like dust, hair and pet dander—keeping the rest of the system running efficiently and your air noticeably cleaner.
PHASE 2: Medium Particle Prefilter. Removes smaller irritants like mold spores and pollen that often trigger allergies, especially in children and sensitive individuals.
PHASE 3: Activated Carbon. This filtration tier uses granulated activated carbon to eliminate odors from pets, cooking, and smoke, while also removing common gases and chemicals.
PHASE 4: Potassium Iodide-Impregnated Carbon. This enhanced carbon phase neutralizes specific hazardous chemicals like formaldehyde, VOCs, and other byproducts of wildfire smoke, building materials, and household cleaners.
PHASE 5: Mineral-Based Filtration. A unique segment of the system, our granulated mineral-based filtration adsorbs specific gases like ammonia and helps detoxify air in ways carbon alone can’t.
PHASE 6: Proprietary-Impregnated Mineral-Based Filtration. This fortified mineral-based filtration binds to nitrogen-based gases such as Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) found in smog and emitted from gas appliances, as well as other difficult-to-remove pollutants.
PHASE 7: Medical Grade HEPA. A medical-grade filtration element, this Certified HEPA material rated to capture 99.97% of airborne particles down to .3 microns and 99% of airborne particles down to .1 microns—including bacteria, viruses, microplastics and allergens.
PHASE 8: Military-Grade HEGA (High-Efficiency Gas Adsorption). This advanced filtering section uses a military grade HEGA carbon cloth that’s also used in military clothing to protect against chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear (CBRN) agents, removing dangerous gases, viruses and ultra-fine contaminants from the air.

 
Care Instructions

• Vacuum all four sides of the outside screen using the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. (Once A Month)
• Replace your pre-filter (the first layer wrapped around the canister) annually. (1-2 Years Under Normal Circumstances)
• The internal (main) filter should be replaced before 5 years of normal use. (4-5 Years For Ideal Performance)
• Strange smell coming from the machine? Reduced airflow? Time time to replace your filter(s).
