The Austin Air Junior Pre-Filter Replacement is the first line of defense in all Austin Air Purifiers. This is the initial layer of filtration that wraps around your main HEPA or HEGA filter. We recommend changing this filter as often as possible. Check it monthly as maintaining this first layer allows your main filter and machine to function at high efficiency. A new and clean pre-filter will pro-long the life of your main cartridge filter.
