Typical foam-based products (memory foam, etc.) in North America are composed of chemicals that are potentially harmful to human beings and can off-gas for quite a long period of time. These foam mattresses and pillows are constructed using petroleum-based bi-products and toxic materials, such as adhesives (glues). Neither the foam nor the encasement (cover) are made of breathable material, which leads to heat retention where you sleep.

Italian foam products use a water-expansion process and base their foam out of vegetable oil (sunflower, castor oil, etc.). • Do not place the internal natural foam core in direct sunlight
• Avoid getting your pillow wet or keeping it in a damp environment
