The Sheep and Alpaca animals are raised in a pesticide-free environment and the processing of the wool is exempt of chemicals, dyes and bleaches. <em>Why go Alpaca wool?<\/em> Alpaca wool fibre is a renewable resource. It is porous (hollow) which leads to a very light and soft fibre that is dry and clean. This prevents dust mites and other allergens from settling into the fibres. Based on recent research, dust mites are one of the most common causes of asthma and allergies in the bedroom.
