The Sheep and Alpaca animals are raised in a pesticide-free environment and the processing of the wool is exempt of chemicals, dyes and bleaches. Why go Alpaca wool? Alpaca wool fibre is a renewable resource. It is porous (hollow) which leads to a very light and soft fibre that is dry and clean. This prevents dust mites and other allergens from settling into the fibres. Based on recent research, dust mites are one of the most common causes of asthma and allergies in the bedroom. Why is Alpaca wool the best fill for a duvet? Because it is one of the warmest natural fibres. It is extremely light and soft, resulting in the duvet floating on you as you sleep. The Alpaca Wool Summer Duvet is typically stocked in Queen Size and King Size at our Toronto location. When not in-stock, orders usually take between 2-3 weeks for production. While Ontario customers can expect shorter delivery times, all Canadian customers can expect delivery within 2-7 days from date of purchase (time is dependant on your location). This product qualifies for FREE shipping and handling across most locations in Canada.

Care Instructions

• Protect your duvet with a quality duvet cover
• Avoid washing your duvet
• Hang your duvet in direct sunlight 3-4 times a year for rejuvenation of the wool
• Avoid getting your duvet wet or keeping it in a damp environment
• If you must wash your duvet, cold water only and non-agitation cycles are recommended
• Use a chemical-free, light soap (such as Eucalan wool wash)
• Never dry-clean or machine dry your duvet
• Always hang dry (air dry) your duvet
