About Crescent Moon Alpaca Wool Pillow

The Crescent Moon Alpaca Wool Pillow is a hand-crafted, luxury-twist on the traditional use of wool in bedding and pillows. Using some of the finest wool fleece organically grown on local Canadian farms, Crescent Moon has sourced it’s materials in a responsible manner. The Sheep and Alpaca animals are raised in a pesticide-free environment and the processing of the wool is exempt of chemicals, dyes and bleaches. Why go Alpaca wool? Alpaca wool fibre is a renewable resource. It is porous (hollow) which leads to a very light and soft fibre that is dry and clean. This prevents dust mites and other allergens from settling into the fibres. Based on recent research, dust mites are one of the most common causes of asthma and allergies in the bedroom. The alpaca wool fibre surrounds a small amount of sheep’s wool creating space for more air and allowing for a higher loft pillow.

Our most popular Crescent Moon Wool Pillow sizes are Travel and Standard/Queen Size. We recommend a Medium or Firm fill level for back sleepers and a Soft for stomach sleepers.

The Alpaca Wool Pillow is typically stocked in a variety of firmnesses and sizes at our Toronto location: Soft in Travel Size, Medium and Firm in Standard Size and Queen Size. When not in-stock, orders usually take between 2-3 weeks for production. While Ontario customers can expect shorter delivery times, all Canadian customers can expect delivery within 2-7 days from date of purchase (time is dependant on your location). This product qualifies for FREE shipping and handling across most locations in Canada.

Care Instructions

• Protect your pillow with a quality pillow protector
• It is not recommended to wash your pillow
• Use a chemical-free spot cleaner for stains
• Place your pillow in direct sunlight 3-4 times a year for rejuvenation of the wool
• Avoid getting your pillow wet or keeping it in a damp environment
