Care:
TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE
The Tempur-Pedic Swedish Mattress™ is sensitive to temperature, with even one degree
changing the feel. Below 15.6°C (60°F), the Tempur-Pedic mattress becomes firmer, but at body
temperature, it becomes quite pliant, moulding itself to the body’s shape. If your Tempur-Pedic
mattress is delivered during the winter months, please be sure to allow the mattress time
to acclimatize to room temperature before moving. Tempur-Pedic products should be kept at
room temperature for best results. Prolonged or repeated exposure to conditions of extreme heat
and/or extreme cold can affect the pressure relieving properties. Do not place Tempur-Pedic®
products in direct sunlight.
ELECTRIC BLANKETS AND HEATING PADS
Due to the temperature sensitivity of the TEMPUR® material, electric blankets and heating pads
should never be used with the Tempur-Pedic Mattress. Contact with these items can impair the
unique properties of the TEMPUR material.
